For the past 25 years, Brenda has worked as bookkeeper at Washford Engineering Ltd, a small specialist precision engineering firm based in Redditch. Established for more than 35 years, the company's workforce are manufacturing and design toolmakers for jigs, fixtures, fittings and so on, including prototypes and development specialists.

Washford Engineering's accounts have been managed by ER Grove for over 20 years now, and during that time Brenda has enjoyed a relaxed and productive relationship with the firm.

Brenda deals with Washford Engineering's payroll and day-to-day bookkeeping, producing monthly management accounts, while ER Grove prepare more detailed quarterly management accounts and year-end accounts. They also advise on personal tax issues for the directors.
